Why am I being asked to log in?

If you see one of the Sign In windows shown below, then you are being asked to sign in to your personal GoToWebinar account.

I have a GoToWebinar account.

If you are a GoToWebinar organizer and want to schedule or start a webinar, then you will need to log in to your account to do so.

To sign in, enter the email address and password that you used to sign up for your account. Learn more.

I do not have a GoToWebinar account.

If you were invited to attend a webinar by another person, then you are likely seeing one of the screens below:

  • If you landed on the "Waiting for Organizer" screen but then clicked start the meeting, GoToWebinar will prompt you to log in. However, that link is meant for the person who scheduled the webinar (i.e., the organizer) to actually start the session. Since you are not the person who scheduled the webinar, you don't need to do anything once you reach this screen; just sit tight and wait for the organizer to join! Learn more.

  • If you see the Webinar Password screen, then the organizer has password-protected the session. It's not asking you to log in – you're actually being prompted to enter the secret password that the organizer set. Learn more.
