As an admin on your Salesforce account, you can modify your users' view of record types as needed to make the environment clearer.
Two record types are created by GoToMeeting during the package install - Event and GoToMeeting.
However, in some Salesforce implementations, either a custom record type, or an additional record type also called Event, already have been added in the environment. Users may encounter these additional record types and may be confused on which ones to use. Administrators can remove the extra record types from the interface.
1. Go to Profiles | Record Type Settings | Events.
2. Choose Edit.
3. Click on the additional record type in the list of Selected Record Types.
4. Click the Remove button.
5. Click Save.
