It says my system is not supported – what do I do?

If you are seeing a message that some part of your system is not supported, see below for some tips on how to resolve that issue.

Your operating system is not supported.

There are 2 possible reasons that you are seeing this message:

  • If you are on a computer, then you are running an operating system that does not meet our system requirements and therefore is not capable of running our software.

    • If you are running Windows, see here for information about upgrading your system.
    • If you are running Mac, see here for information about upgrading your system.
    • If you are running Linux or Google Chrome OS, then you are not able to run the desktop software. You can join sessions using your web browser instead.
  • If you are on a mobile device, then you are trying to use a feature that is not supported on iOS, Android or Windows Phone devices. Please switch to a computer to use the feature.

Your web browser is not supported.

There are 2 possible reasons that you are seeing this message:

  • If you are running Google Chrome, then you have an older, outdated version of the browser. Please upgrade Google Chrome to use the feature.

  • If you are running another browser, then the feature you are trying to use is not available on browsers other than Google Chrome. Please download and switch to Google Chrome to use the feature.

JavaScript is not enabled.

Some of our features require that you have JavaScript enabled in order to use them. Please enable JavaScript to use the feature.
