Connect to Audio using your Telephone

You can connect to the session by dialing in with your telephone. Skip the dialing process by having GoToMeeting call you! You can also connect to audio using the internet.

Note that audio quality may vary depending on you telephone service provider. We recommend using headphones or a headset to avoid noise feedback.

Connect from the desktop app

1. Select Phone call as follows:

  • Before a session launches, select the Phone call option in the pre-session "Choose audio mode" window and then select Continue.
  • While in session, expand the Audio pane at the top of the Control Panel and select Phone call.

2. Use the drop-down menu to select which country you want to see phone numbers for.

3. Use your telephone to dial the desired phone number, then enter the 9-digit access code when prompted.

4. Be sure to enter the Audio PIN to link your phone call with the session. If you don't, you'll need to manage your audio using the keypad on your phone. See What is the Audio PIN? for more information.

5. If you do not want to see those pre-session "Choose audio mode" windows, you can select the Don't show again box. This will remember your audio option and set it as the default for future sessions.

 

Connect from the Web App

1. Click the Settings icon in the toolbar.

2. On the Audio tab, select Computer Audio.

3. Use the drop-down menu to select which country you want to see phone numbers for.

4. Use your telephone to dial the desired phone number, then enter the 9-digit access code when prompted.

5. Be sure to enter the Audio PIN to link your phone call with the session. If you don't, you'll need to manage your audio using the keypad on your phone. See What is the Audio PIN? for more information.

Connect from the iOS app

1. We recommend using headphones with a speaker when using Phone mode with mobile apps.

2. Tap Audio in the lower toolbar.

3. Tap More Phone Numbers to select which country you'd like to see the phone numbers for.

4. Tap Connect to the Phone Call or Switch to the Phone Call (if you are already connected via Internet Call).

5. Your phone will automatically dial into the audio session for you.

Connect from the Android app

1. Tap the Options icon in the upper toolbar.

2. Select Audio options.

3. On the Audio screen, select Switch to phone call.
