When attempting to join a meeting or webinar using Internet Explorer the following error comes up after verifying application requirements, "Cannot continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contact the application vendor for assistance."

Error "GoToMeeting failed to start, or exited with an error. Please try again."

The error "GoToMeeting failed to start, or exited with an error. Please try again." when trying to join a meeting is usually caused by older versions of GoToMeeting being installed, internet connectivity, or network security issues.

Error: "Another instance of the installer is running" when attempting to start or join a meeting

This error is typically caused when G2M is unable to finish loading and you click Start or Join again, hotfix after the jump for XP machines.

Audio From My Video Not Being Heard

While streaming video and audio is not technically supported by GoToMeeting/Webinar/Training some people can get it to work.

Error: "Execution Error - GoToMeeting There was an error when trying to execute the correct version for the meeting."

This error message can occur when starting or joining meetings, webinars, or trainings and is usually due to the network connection or because the User Account Control prompt was not clicked Yes to. It can also be caused by the Ask toolbar being installed on the computer.
