GoToAssist for Mobile Devices

With the free GoToAssist apps, you can increase your mobility and bandwidth by providing essential support services to remote Internet-connected devices while you're on the go. The apps are streamlined versions of GoToAssist Remote Support that provide unlimited attended sessions from your iPad or Android device. You can deliver instant technical support from anywhere at any time, even when you're not in the office.

You have two options for using the GoToAssist apps:

  • Create a free account to provide live remote support to your customers.
  • Log in to your paid GoToAssist account, and use the full set of available features (including Unattended Support).

Both options provide you with the ability to be available to solve your clients' technical issues by connecting instantly to computers or accessing unattended servers and workstations, not just from your desk.

  • Easy set up and use – Download your free app and enter in your login information to instantly start providing remote support with one tap; just use the easy-to-follow on-screen prompts.
  • Secure – The apps work seamlessly with existing firewalls, so there is no need for special configurations.
  • Intuitive gestures and touch controls – Control your customer's Windows or Mac computer using standard iPad and Android gestures and touch controls. Quick visual reminders of supported gestures are available on the toolbar.
  • Zoom and pan for detailed work – Zoom up to 300% of your screen size for iPads and 400% for Android devices, and pan across the screen by swiping your finger as you provide support to your clients.
  • Full keyboard functionality – Use special keys like Alt, Ctrl and Tab from your mobile device.
  • Preview Text mode – Enjoy the ability to preview a block of text (and use iPad autocorrect) before sending it to the customer (iPad app only).
  • Connect over 3G and Wi-Fi – Based on your connectivity, you can adjust performance for better speed or appearance in-session so your work is not slowed down.
  • Security – All data is protected by secure connections with 128-bit AES encryption.
  • Inactivity timeout – Enjoy a configurable inactivity timeout feature (iPad app only).
  • Free 24/7 support – Get technical support any time you need it, and receive free software upgrades for the life of your account.
