Designating View-Only or Full Access

Depending on configuration, when Screen Sharing begins, the authorization dialog prompts the level of sharing that can occur.

View-Only Access:

View-only allows you to view the screen but not move the mouse. The Screen Viewing session begins in either Draw mode or Laser mode, giving you the ability to draw or laser point on the shared screen.

Full Access:

Full access gives you the ability to view as well as share the mouse and keyboard. The person sharing his/her screen always has override control with the mouse.

To toggle between view-only and full access

  1. From the Chat box menu bar of the screen being shared, select Screen Sharing and then View-Only or Full Keyboard and Mouse.
