Channel Page (Beta)

Your personal Channel page is the easiest way for you to instantly provide your audience with a quick and simple way to browse and consume your best content. You can post all your recordings to your personal Channel page and easily share them with anyone, all from one web page.

It is currently in an extremely limited beta phase, so if you do not yet have access to it stay tuned for future releases!

Prepare to share recordings

In order to add recordings to your Channel, you have to first prepare to share them. Once a recording is prepared for sharing, new registrants and attendees will be able to access it using the webinar link. This will also allow you to add the link to follow-up emails and discover new leads in the Registration report.

1. Log in online and go to the My Recordings page.

2. Find the desired recording you'd like to prepare and select Prepare and then Continue. Once it is done preparing, you will see a "Ready" message with a Share link that will launch a Copy link.

Add recordings to your Channel

You can add both local and online recordings to your Channel page directly from your My Recordings page.

1. Log in online and go to the My Recordings page.

2. Find the desired recording you'd like to add and toggle the "Add to Channel" button to the On position .

Note: Recordings must be prepared and ready to share before adding to your Channel.

Access and customize your Channel

You can easily access your Channel and customize it to your liking!

1. Go to the My Recordings page or sign in directly from your Channel page with your GoToWebinar, LinkedIn, Facebook or Gmail account.

2. Select View Channel Page to access your Channel.

3. Explore these available features: 

  • Categories: Separate your recordings by the given categories (it is not possible to create your own). Please note that once you categorize a recording, you cannot remove it from being categorized.
  • Groups: Create custom group headings to organize your webinars into categories your audience will find relevant.
  • Thumbnail pictures: Add a thumbnail picture to each recording to display on the Channel page. If you added an online recording, you'll see the default thumbnail GoToWebinar created for you. You can choose to remove this thumbnail and add a new one.
  • Featured events: Feature up to 5 events, which will be displayed at the top of the Channel page.
  • Page color theme: Change the main color theme of your Channel page.
  • Banner image: Add a banner image at the top of your Channel page.
  • Name: Edit the way your name appears.
  • Channel logo: Add a logo to your Channel page, which will appear next to your name.
  • Channel description: Add a description to your Channel page, which will appear under your name.
  • Video description: Add a description to your recording, which will appear under the video once users select the desired recording.

Share Your Channel

Easily share your Channel page with others by selecting the Share button at the top-right of the screen. Your unique URL will appear, and then you will be able to copy and paste the link wherever you'd like. You can also post directly to social media feeds by clicking the corresponding brand icons to open a new pre-populated post.

Limit Your Channel Viewers

Don't want your Channel page to be accessible to the general public? You can easily change this setting to allow only those with a direct link to your Channel or video to have access to your page. Changing this setting will prevent your videos from displaying on GoToStage. Note that all Channels are public by default.

Note: There is no way to make specific videos on one Channel private.

1. Go to the My Recordings page or sign in directly from your Channel page with your GoToWebinar, LinkedIn, Facebook or Gmail account.

2. Select View Channel Page to access your Channel.

3. Select the Globe icon and Limited People in the drop-down menu.

View recordings

Once viewers select a specific recording to watch, a new "Watch Now" page will open including a preview of the recording. Viewers will be prompted to sign in or register before watching this (and other) recording with a GoToWebinar, LinkedIn, Facebook or Google account. Once signed in, viewers can select the Play icon to watch the full recording.
