OpenVoice is a standalone audio conferencing solution, or an audio extension to GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, or GoToWebinar. In either case, OpenVoice provides an inexpensive, streamlined means of access to audio conferencing for up to 500 users. No reservations are required, and the product includes toll and toll-free numbers for over 50 countries. Free mobile apps enable users to join with a couple clicks.
Quick, clean user experience, nearly anywhere on Earth
Audio conference organizers set up the calls in a unified admin center where they can add users and groups, manage welcome emails, and schedule, start, and record conferences. Conference organizers can also review reports on usage and can allot conferences to specific billing accounts and can control whether toll or toll-free numbers will be used.
Easily schedule conferences and add invitees
Typically, organizers and users access their conferences using the Outlook plugin for OpenVoice. The plugin provides quick access to scheduling OpenVoice conferences, and because your Outlook credentials are trusted, direct access to the OpenVoice admin center. Scheduled conferences are logged in your Outlook calendar. (The Outlook Plugin is not enabled on the Mac, but a simple workaround provides the same functionality from Outlook on the Mac, and from other email management applications.)
Add conferences or manage your app through the Outlook Plugin
The OpenVoice invitations that go out provide users with dates and times, instructions, and the toll and toll-free numbers they will need to participate. The conference is automatically added to their Outlook calendars if they are using the free plugin.
Everything your users need to know is included in the invitation email
During an OpenVoice conference, organizers can require that participants say their name as they join the call. If the organizer wants to mute all callers except the organizer, they can enter lecture mode. Call participants can review the conference features available to them at any time during the call. They can mute and unmute their line, hear the number of participants, and if the organizer is running the conference is in lecture mode, notify the organizer if they want to speak. The organizer can select them to speak in turn or shift back to full conference mode.
If you have a GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, or GoToTraining account, you automatically have OpenVoice. Enable your organizers for OpenVoice and they can conference in audio participants to a training or webinar or meeting. They can add OpenVoice conference call numbers to the invitation and up to 500 users can join and participate.
